INSTALLATION

Easier than re-gripping your clubs.

No professional installer. No special tools. Just a hair dryer you already own and 15 minutes you won't regret.

  • Clean the Crown

    Pop the head off the shaft. Give the crown a quick wipe with the included prep pad. 60 seconds and it's ready.

  • Apply Knifeless Tape

    Run the knifeless tape around the crown edge. This is your trim guide — it does the cutting for you. Takes 60 seconds.

  • Align and Apply Heat

    Lay the Hoodz over the crown with a little excess on each edge. Apply gentle heat and smooth outward from the centre — the vinyl conforms naturally to the curve. No bubbles, no stress.

  • Release knifeless tape to cut

    Pull the filament in one smooth motion around the crown. It cuts a clean edge through the vinyl — no blade, no risk to your driver's finish.

  • Peel Excess and Smooth

    Peel away the excess. A quick pass of heat around the edges locks everything flush. Run your thumb along the border — if it looks good to you, it's done.

  • Attach Driver Head and Play

    Reattach the head, drop it back in the bag, and tee it up. Don't be surprised when someone asks what's on your crown.

  • Hoodz!™ is a thin, cosmetic protective film that does not change the performance or weight of your driver. It is suitable for everyday and club play. If competing in elite or sanctioned tournaments, we recommend confirming compliance with your event officials before teeing up.

  • Just a regular hair-drier is required to apply your Hoodz!™. All other components for installation come supplied in your Hoodz!™ order.

  • Hoodz!™ is built to last 2+ years under normal playing conditions. This time may be shorter subject to the volume of sky'd balls it protects against. It is UV-resistant, weather resistant and designed to withstand regular use.

  • Hoodz!™ is designed to fit modern 460cc driver crown shapes. Be sure to select the correct dominant hand option for your club when ordering.

  • Not at all. Installation takes approximately 10-15 minutes and only requires a basic hair-drier. A step-by-step video guide is provided to make the process straightforward and stress-free. Watch here.

  • Yes. Hoodz!™ is made from premium cast vinyl with a professional-grade adhesive designed for high-end automotive and sporting surfaces. When installed and removed using gentle heat, it will not damage your driver’s factory finish.
